As a general rule, I don't like it when people ask questions. Usually, their questions have either already been answered or are just plain dumb. But hey, maybe that's just me.
No, what really gets me going, is when people ask me or the people around me questions during a movie, about the movie. If you were paying attention to the movie, maybe you would actually know what was going on instead of having to ask about it every two seconds. Really, the character JUST said that. And for heaven's sake, PLEASE don't ask me about what's going to happen later on in the movie when I'd already made it clear that it's my first time watching it too.

Regarding foreign language and the human senses
A submission from a good friend of mine:
Someone asked her the following, "Do you have to learn Spanish to work at Taco Bell?" They weren't joking, it was a legitimate question. Which brings me to the question of, have they ever gone to a Taco Bell? If not, I highly suggest they do before applying to work there, and if they have, I really want to know what Taco Bell has Spanish speaking workers.
On another note, I made a scientific breakthrough today. Are you aware that there is a distinct connection between your hearing, and whether or not you are wearing your glasses? A woman today, upon being asked something by someone across the room, told them to hold on because she couldn't hear him, put on her glasses, and asked him to repeat himself.
Scientific breakthrough. I could win a Nobel prize or something for this.

Linear thinking, you're not really doing it right.
Today, I wore my Holocaust Remembrance bracelet to school. Now unless you're very familiar with either Hebrew, or common Holocaust symbols, the bracelet doesn't make much sense until it's explained. Needless to say, I answered a lot of questions about what my bracelet meant. Fine, no big deal here.
No, here's the kicker folks, about 75% of the people who asked about my bracelet followed up my response with something along the lines of "The Holocaust? That's with Jewish people right? Are you Jewish?" or "So you're Jewish right?"
Oh. I wasn't aware that wanting to remember the victims of the Holocaust (not all of whom were Jewish mind you), meant you were Jewish. Glad that was cleared up for me.
